SolidWorks Drafting Associate (St Louis)

SolidWorks Drafting Associate H&H is looking for a full-time SolidWorks Drafter to join our growing team. This professional will work directly with the COO and Engineering Manager in the office and with the crew on the manufacturing floor to create, design and problem solve. The highest industry standardsfrom traditional St.Louiscraftsmen will always be the H&H way.Job Responsibilities Create accurate CAD drawings from hand sketches, verbal instructions, and customer-provided modelsSystematically archive drawings and documentation on CAD serverUpdating project folders and files as jobs progress and maintaining proper revision controlDevelop and modify standard models for repeated partsProfessionally communicate with customersAssist and support other departments with various projects and tasksCommunicate with plant personnel on manufacturing capabilities and best practicesRequired QualificationsOutstanding fluency and skill within the SolidWorks programMinimum 1-year experience in a technical drafting rolePreferred SkillsAutoCAD fluencyRADAN experience or familiarity with other nesting softwareExperience in CAD/CAM, or CNC programming for laser cutting or similar3D Scanning, surface modeling (i.e. Blender) experience or familiarityDegree or professional certificate in manufacturing or related fieldAn ideal candidateHas a laser focus and strong attention to detail and qualityEnjoys a fast-paced environmentEmploys excellent communication skillsRolls up their sleeves and gets the work done, as were a small team used to everyone pitching inLoves a workshop; familiarity with metal working or similar hands-on hobbies and activitiesBenefits IncludeMedicalDentalVisionPTO401k w/ employer matchFull benefits offered with this position; compensation commensurate with experience.
