Great Opportunity for recent college graduates with at least 2 years of accounting experience! Location: Peachtree Corners, 30092 (In-Office)IMMEDIATE Direct Hire Accountant needed for a well-known distribution organization in Peachtree Corners. This organization is a wholesale supplier of equipment, parts and supplies throughout the eastern states. Duties include: Compile and report various financial reports for company/management: Daily Flash Report Weekly Borrowing Base Month End Borrowing Base Prepare and process journal entries and complete month end closing process Reconcile various general ledger accounts as assigned by Accounting Supervisor, Assistant Controller and/or Corporate Controller Responsible for maintaining fixed assets including all monthly entries and annual reporting for all companies Maintain sales tax files for the various states and ensure accuracy and timeliness of sales tax filing in coordination with Taxware for all companies Prepare, file, and pay Annual Personal Property taxes, and Ad Valorem Taxes for all companies Prepare various schedules for bank and financial audits Perform daily banking functions Manage Escheatment (Unclaimed Property) Process Provide backup for other Staff Accountant functionsThe selected Staff Accountant must have at least 2 previous years of experience, bachelor's degree in accounting and expertise within MS Excel reporting functions.#AF123
