Job Title: Phlebotomist Location: Suwanee, GA 30024 Duration: 4 months+ (Possibility of Extension) Shift: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM   Job Overview: The Phlebotomist (PSR II) serves as a vital patient-facing professional responsible for collecting high-quality blood specimens and ensuring proper lab preparation. This role requires accuracy, professionalism, and excellent customer service to build trust and positive patient experiences. Assignments may vary across doctor’s offices, patient service centers, or other designated locations.   Key Responsibilities: Accurately perform daily specimen collection activities under the supervision of the area supervisor. Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment at all times. Perform forensic and clinical specimen collections, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws. Verify patient demographics and obtain patient signatures post-venipuncture. Properly label specimen tubes in the presence of patients to ensure accuracy. Keep precise documentation and maintain compliance with protocols. Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, clients, and team members to promote a positive organizational image. Adhere to company policies including dress code, health and safety regulations, and operational standards. Demonstrate leadership, confidentiality, and a commitment to quality and process excellence.   Job Requirements: Deliver high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proven phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric collections. Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime as required. Strict adherence to company policies and procedures. Sound decision-making and good judgment skills. Reliable personal transportation (rideshare/public transit not acceptable). Willingness to travel between multiple locations on short notice. Strong customer service and communication abilities. Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.   Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent (required). Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws.   Additional Information: Training may occur at various locations depending on trainer availability.
