Mail Clerk 2 Months (Temp to Hire) Atlanta, GA 30322 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Overview Responsibilities include processing incoming/outgoing mail and packages, operating high-volume office equipment, and supporting general site operations. This is a physically active role requiring standing, lifting, and use of various mail and copy equipment in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Process incoming and outgoing mail and packages daily Organize and distribute mail and packages. Operate mail equipment, including postage meters, printers, copiers, and related office machines Maintain accurate tracking and documentation of packages and deliveries Provide excellent customer service when interacting with faculty, staff, and students Ensure mailroom and distribution areas remain clean, safe, and organized Assist with additional warehouse or office support tasks as assigned Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required Prior mail handling or distribution experience preferred Basic computer skills; proficiency with MS Office Suite Strong organizational and time management skills Good customer service and communication skills Physical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push carts weighing up to 400 lbs. on wheels Extended periods of standing, walking, bending, reaching, and stretching Work may involve walking between multiple buildings on campus Work environment includes office/warehouse setting with normal temperature and noise levels Metasys Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
