Shipping Specialist

Your activities Cross-trains in multiple areas within the shipping department. Changes between the shipping and picking functions frequently and with short notice. Enters into Axapta timely, accurately and proficiently, orders for Inventory, Picking, and Shipping. Enters information into Connectship timely, accurately and proficiently, orders for processing shipments. Works closely with management to ensure processes are followed and improved. Communicates within the department and with other departments to solve problems or questions related to shipping. Trains new employees in the Department Processes Assists other areas as needed Works overtime with short notice Works with management on continuous improvement Works with management on problem solving Your profile High school diploma or equivalent required. 2 years warehouse experience. 2 years shipping experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficient in Connectship and D365 is a plus. Above average mathematical/computer skills is a plus. Good hand-eye coordination and full range of motion for walking, standing, reaching, stooping and bending. Forklift certification preferred. Excellent attendance and punctuality required
