Job Description

Tom Wood Ford in Indianapolis, IN is searching for a dedicated and experienced Ford Certified Technician to join our team. This role combines technical skill with customer service, requiring strong diagnostics, time management, and the ability to work independently while upholding Ford's quality and safety standards. Responsibilities: * Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance services quickly and efficiently * Conduct vehicle inspections to identify necessary repairs or maintenance * Complete routine maintenance and recall repairs. * Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers, explaining repairs and procedures. * Ensure proper documentation of all services performed * Maintain a clean and organized work environment * Follow all safety protocols and procedures * Provide excellent customer service by communicating vehicle issues and repair recommendations clearly * Stay updated on automotive technology and repair techniques * Perform minor repairs, such as replacing air filters, wiper blades, and light bulbs * Adhere to company policies and standards for service quality and customer satisfaction * Participate in ongoing training and development programs * Other responsibilities as needed Qualifications: * 5 years of Ford specific technician experience * ASE certifications * Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use modern diagnostic tools and equipment. * A team player with a commitment to customer satisfaction and high-quality workmanship. * Team oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service * Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc. * Desire and ability to work on diesel vehicles preferred. * Required- Have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record Benefits: * PTO & Vacation * Paid Holidays * Medical * Dental * Vision * 401k with Company Match * Life * Disability * Training * Tuition Reimbursement * Service Awards * Career Advancement * Wisely & DailyPay About Tom Wood Group The Tom Wood Group is proud to be family-owned and locally operated for over 50 years.
