Position- Field Crew Supervisor Facility Name- Caesars Superdome |Smoothie King Center |Champions Square Location- New Orleans, La POSITION: Field Crew Supervisor DEPARTMENT: Engineering and Operations REPORTS TO: Manager of Engineering & Operations FLSA STATUS: Salaried/Exempt Summary Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Regional Director of Finance for multi-venue facility management and hospitality operations for Caesars Superdome | Smoothie King Center | Champions Square | Shrine on Airline. This role offers visibility with senior leadership and the opportunity to impact financial performance across some of the most iconic venues in sports and entertainment Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assign duties connected with the physical conversion/setup of the facility lease requirements. General physical labor performance, i.e., setting and picking up tables and chairs, carrying, lifting, and assembling furniture and fixtures, including staging, painting the field, installing basketball courts, etc.Repair/maintain equipment and machinery. Determine the most efficient and economical means of labor utilization to carry out assigned tasks. Works during events and responds as needed to both scheduled and unforeseen physical modifications required for said event. Assists in providing necessary support and back up in satisfying pre-event, during, and post-event requirements. Maintain organization of all warehouse and keep an updated, to date, count of all inventory. Oversee the day-to-day work of Field Crewmen and ensure all work has been completed at a satisfactory level. Oversee all conversions for all buildings. All other duties as assigned Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Knowledge of "mechanical" is necessary. Previous facility operations experience is a plus. Thorough knowledge of the physical arrangement of the Superdome, including its limitations. Thorough knowledge of equipment inventory, i.e., tables, chairs, staging, etc. Ability to interpret written instructions as to the physical setup for specific events. Ability to communicate with the Event Coordinator and carry out both written and verbal instructions. Physical ability to operate equipment and provide manual assistance when necessary. Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or equivalent3-5 years of general labor experience required. Prior facility operations experience required. Prior supervisory/leadership experience preferred. Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
