Must-Haves:Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. 3+ years of experience in IT administration, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, networking protocols, cybersecurity and Power BI. Experience with ERP/MES systems such as QAD, Epicor Mattec, SAP, Oracle, or Plex. Proficiency in SQL for database querying, reporting, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with industrial automation systems and protocols (e.g., OPC, Modbus) Experience in creating and managing the yearly budget. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Plusses:Experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing. Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment. Job Summary The IS Administrator is responsible for maintaining and supporting the facilitys information systems infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability of hardware, software, and network systems. This role supports manufacturing operations and collaborates with Corporate IS to ensure alignment with enterprise-wide IT initiatives. Key Responsibilities System Maintenance & Support Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, workstations, and network devices. Ensure uptime and performance of MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), ERP systems, and other production-related software. User Support & Training Provide technical support to plant personnel for hardware, software, and system access issues. Train users on new systems and updates. Network & Security Manage local area networks (LAN), wireless networks, and VPN connections. Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols and data protection measures. Data Management Ensure proper data backup procedures and disaster recovery plans are in place. Maintain databases and ensure data integrity for production and administrative systems. System Integration Collaborate with engineering and production teams to integrate IT systems with PLCs, SCADA, and other automation tools. Support IoT and Industry 4.0 initiatives. Compliance & Documentation Ensure compliance with corporate IT policies and industry regulations. Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Corporate IS Support Provide assistance to Corporate IS teams as needed for system rollouts, upgrades, audits, and policy enforcement. Participate in cross-site initiatives and contribute to enterprise-wide IT projects. Ensure alignment between plant-level systems and corporate standards.
