Financial Reporting Analyst (Boston)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Reporting Analyst to join our client's team. This position will play a key role in preparing monthly financial reports, performing business analysis, and developing key data summaries to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate must have strong Excel skills and be local, as occasional onsite presence is required. Key Responsibilities:Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial reports, variance analyses, and executive summaries.Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, including data collection, consolidation, and trend analysis.Conduct periodic analysis of business performance, identifying key drivers and providing actionable insights.Create and maintain Excel models to support reporting and analysis needs.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather data and understand financial impacts.Support ad-hoc financial projects and reporting requests as needed.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.2+ years of experience in financial analysis or reporting roles.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, charts, and complex formulas).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Must be local and able to work onsite as needed.Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environmentDetermining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
