PACIV is a global leader in industrial automation and process control solutions, serving clients in the life sciences, pharmaceutical, medical device, food & beverage, and utilities sectors, specializing in delivering compliant, high-performance automation systems tailored to regulated environments.We are looking for an Instrumentation Technician to join our Indianapolis, IN team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of process instrumentation for capital projects, particularly within the pharmaceutical sector. Managing all aspects of instrumentation logistics, from procurement and warehousing to tagging, shipping/receiving, and commissioning documentation. Ensuring the correct instrumentation is delivered to construction site on time and in alignment with Supporting Instrument Service Provider (ISP) project requirements.Job ResponsibilitiesLeads and supports the receiving, unloading, and accurate documentation of process instrumentation.Collaborate with ISP Project Lead to set priorities and track instrumentation status; attend client meetings.Handles instrumentation logistics unpacking, inspecting, storing, and updating database records using manual or powered equipment.Supports expedited delivery of high-priority instrumentation.Coordinates routine and urgent shipments with admin staff and shipping pletes commissioning documentation in compliance with GDP and cGMP standards.Prepares turnover packages with warranties, data sheets, and certifications.Generates and applies unique tags using computer-based labeling systems.Resolves instrumentation issues & damage claims with vendors and Manager of Instrumentation Services.Manages transportation logistics, including packing and preparing bills of lading.Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work environment.Supports all tasks across multiple concurrent projects.QualificationsAssociates or Bachelors in engineering or a related technical fieldExperience in pharmaceutical or medical device industries; knowledge of FDA regulations at plusFamiliarity with process instrumentation (level, flow, pressure, temperature sensors, valves, accessories)Previous warehouse experience and ability to lift 75lbs or moreExperience with directing support staff in carrying out essential tasksWilling to operate or be trained to use hand trucks and forkliftsStrong interpersonal, verbal, and presentation skills; team-oriented and accountableThrives in high-pressure environments; self-motivated and results-drivenHighly organized with proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Project, etc.)Compensation & Benefits HighlightsPACIV offers a competitive salary with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being and financial future of our employeesGenerous Paid Time Off - Vacation, sick leave, and company-recognized holidays.Healthcare Coverage - PACIV covers 90% of the healthcare premiumHealth Savings Account (HSA) Bi-monthly company contributions up to $3k a year to manage out-of-pocket medical expenses.401(k) Retirement Plan - Company match up to 4% & full vestiture on enrollment datePACIV is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
