Together, we will become the world's leading cancer reference laboratory.Position Summary:The People & Culture, Senior Strategic Partner is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR leadership in supporting designated geographic regions. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, affirmative action and employment law compliance.Core Responsibilities:Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiting, media and internet site; provides organizational information, opportunities and benefits, making presentations and maintaining rapportConducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students and temporary employees; monitors career-pathing program and writes and places advertisementsAssists in selection of employees at all locations; maintains applicant records; develops and maintains positive applicant relations; coordinates candidate travel arrangements and interview agendasRepresents employer at public events like career fairsNegotiates and prepares job offers and relocation agreements (as necessary) for qualified applicantsAssists with new employee relocation by determining new employee requirements and provides guidance on the communityFacilitates new hire onboarding including background checks, occupational drug screens, systems set-up and material preparationsAssists with the training and organizational development programs that address personal, professional, and organizational needs of employees and departmentsServes as benefits coordinator in directing the administration of insurance, retirement,and other benefits programsCoordinates employee action changes with payroll to ensure payroll changes take effectin a timely mannerEnsures open communications with staff and develops positive employee relationsRecommends and participates in the development of policies and proceduresInterpreting, assisting and advising employees and managers regarding cooperative agreement applications, leave management and benefit administration, and HR procedures and policies within the specified guidelinesOrganizes and coordinates the maintenance of department records, ensuring complete accuracy and confidentialityCreates and updates organizational chartsResearches and analyzes data for special projects and policy developmentResponds to routine inquiries from vendors and internal customers in a timely mannerOrganizes employee events, social outings and activitiesAttends department meetings and company in-service trainings to enhance knowledgeExperience, Education and Qualifications:3+ years’ experience in a similar HR capacityHealthcare, Pharma and/or Clinical Laboratory industry experience strongly preferredKnowledgeable with human resources laws and federal/state compliance requirementsExperience working within a multi-site environmentComputer and Internet literacy; specifically with MS office applications and knowledge of Word, Excel is required.Experience with ADP’s Pay Expert is a plusDetail-oriented, enthusiastic, self-directed, and well-organized individual with ability to multi-taskExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to function independently within a broad scope of guidelines and established policies and goalsAbility to maintain a high level of confidentialityAbility to multi-task in fast-paced environmentAbility to work within and meet required deadlines.Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with all levels of the organizationPast experience developing policies and procedures (preferred)Travel: 20% travel to Neo sites, community events and/or HR conferences/training #J-18808-Ljbffr
