Medical Assistant Chevy Chase, MDPay From: $21 per hour MUST:Experienced Medical Assistant 2+ year of Medical Assistant Experience - Dermatology MUST have experience in Dermatology MUST be bilingual in Spanish Certification preferred but not required EMR experience Medical Terminology and Scribing is a huge plus. DUTIES: The Medical Assistant will be responsible for, but not limited to the following: Triage patientsProvide clinical assistance including some transcription and scribe dutiesWelcome patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiriesOptimize patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephoneEnsure availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient recordsMaintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial informationMaintain business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies; scheduling equipment service and repairsProtect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial informationMaintain operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changesContribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
