Radiology Technician - PediatricsFairfax, Virginia Pay From: $38 Per HourMUST:Experienced X- Ray Technician 1+ year of experience as an X-ray Tech Comfortable working with childrenCurrent Virginia Radiologic Technologist License requiredARRT Certification DUTIES:The Radiology Technologist duties include but are not limited to the following: Prepare patients for radiological procedures and follow established procedures for patient care and safety Provide patient education on x-ray procedures so they feel comfortable Perform safe and compliant operation of X-ray technologies to produce digital images of bones and tissues Protect patients from radiation exposure by practicing sound procedures Obtain quality radiographs of patients in an acceptable timeframe; Process and accurately digitize images with correct patient dataPrepare examination rooms for radiographic proceduresReview each exam for technical accuracy and identify anatomical orientation on all imagesEnsure that all equipment is in good working condition and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
