We recognize and value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.Position Summary:The Highway Sign Assembler is responsible for fabricating and assembling highway signs in compliance with project specifications and safety standards. This role also includes preparing materials, operating tools and machinery, and loading/unloading signs.Essential Functions:Read and interpret sign calculation sheets and follow verbal work instructions.Measure, cut, and clean aluminum sign panels for production.Gather required hardware, clamps, and tools (e.g., air ratchet, drill, rivet gun, hammer, mallet, screwdriver, radial arm saw).Position sheeted panels and assemble sign components such as letters, hangers, T-bars, and edge molding.Operate machinery (including squeeze roll machine) to apply sheeting to extruded panels.Mark chalk lines, lay out letters, and ensure proper alignment and finish.Load finished highway signs onto trailers for delivery.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Perform other duties as assigned.Education, Experience & Skills Required:High school diploma or GED required.Valid driver’s license required.Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.Proficiency with hand and power tools.Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds and handle large highway signs.Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as dollies, hand trucks, and forklifts.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.EOE StatementRoadSafe is an Equal Opportunity Employer/including Disabled/Veterans
