Associate Attorney

Job Title: Probate and Estate Attorney Location: Center Line, MI (on-site) About the Practice: Our client represents general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, owners, and developers in complex construction disputes, as well as a broad range of civil litigation, community association law, and professional liability matters. Role Overview: We’re seeking an Associate Attorney for our client’s Center Line, MI office. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys who want to build or expand their practice in the Estate planning and Probate Litigation space while working with a highly collaborative and respected team. Experience: 0–2 years of experience; prior Estate Planning or Probate Litigation experience preferred. Key Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of Estate Planning, Probate litigation matters from inception to resolution Handle discovery, depositions, motion practice, client meetings, and trial preparation Work closely with senior litigators and partners to develop expertise in Estate Planning. Build and maintain strong client relationships in this practice area. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Active Michigan Bar membership Demonstrated litigation experience; Estate Planning, Probate Litigation experience strongly preferred. Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills Self-motivated and eager to develop a specialty in Estate Planning, Probate litigation Open to recent graduates with a Michigan Bar License. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is up to $90,000 annually . Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
