Position Overview The Senior Financial Analyst will serve as a strategic finance partner to Sales, Meat Manufacturing, and Executive Leadership, delivering actionable insights that drive revenue growth, margin expansion, and operational efficiency across the CPG meat manufacturing portfolio. This role is critical to supporting the expansion of protein-based and meat products, including contract negotiations, SKU-level profitability, and customer-level financial strategy. Key Responsibilities Sales & Margin Analytics Analyze customer-level and SKU-level sales performance and recommend pricing strategies. Identify margin leakage and recommend corrective actions across meat product lines. Forecasting & Budgeting Lead development of rolling forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range plans for meat manufacturing business units. Provide variance analysis and scenario modeling to support strategic decisions. Customer & Channel Profitability Evaluate profitability by customer, product line, and distribution channel. Partner with Sales and Meat Manufacturing teams to optimize pricing, product mix, and plant cost structures. Executive Reporting Prepare monthly and quarterly business reviews, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities. Support board-level reporting and investor diligence requests related to meat manufacturing. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain to align financial goals with meat manufacturing strategies. Support ad hoc analysis for new product launches, meat manufacturing operations, and customer negotiations. Data Tools & Automation Build and maintain dashboards and financial models using Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems. Drive automation of recurring reports and support systems integration for meat manufacturing workflows. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred). 4–6 years of direct experience in FP&A, sales finance, or commercial finance, ideally in food manufacturing or CPG. Strong understanding of cost accounting, pricing, and margin analysis. Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with Power BI and ERP systems. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and influence cross-functional teams. Preferred: Familiarity with meat processing or protein-based product lines; experience supporting high-volume, SKU-intensive businesses.
