Service Manager / Installation Manager Columbus, OH Our client, a rapidly expanding and highly successful industrial equipment and service company, is seeking an experienced Installation Manager to lead installation operations at their Columbus, OH location. Role Overview: This position is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of equipment installations, including team oversight, project scheduling, quality assurance, and safety compliance. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, organized, and experienced with mechanical and electrical systems. Key Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate in-house technicians and subcontractors on installation projects Review new jobs for scope, scheduling, and resource planning Maintain strong communication with sales, service, and admin teams Ensure site readiness, proper documentation, and customer satisfaction Promote a safety-first culture; ensure compliance with all procedures Manage installation assets, materials, and rental equipment cost-effectively Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training efforts Requirements: Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems Prior experience managing maintenance or installation teams a plus Strong leadership and organizational skills Proficiency in Excel and job management systems Clear, professional communication Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently
