Medical Assistant

Job Title: Medical Assistant Requirements: Medical Assistant School certification, active BLS, High School Diploma or GED equivalent, 6-8 months of recent clinical experience outside of externship Nice to haves: CCMA (NHA) or RMA certification, bilingual (Spanish & English) Location: hiring for multiple standalone locations in Manhattan (no floating) Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30 am - 5 pm Responsibilities: Triage and room patients. Collect and record vitals, medical history, medication history and chief complaints. Perform specimen collection; blood draws, urinalysis, point of care testing, etc. Assist providers with in office procedures. Clean and stock rooms between patients. Use Epic. EKGs.
