Clinical Study Coordinator

Job Title: Study Coordinator Job Description Engage in human subject research by monitoring participants using various technology products and collecting data throughout the study. The research focuses on wearable devices used in an exercise setting. The role involves ensuring participants are properly set up with devices and monitoring equipment, observing their use during activities, and collecting data both manually and through equipment. Responsibilities + Consent participants and take necessary vitals and measurements (height, weight, EKG) at the beginning and throughout the session. + Ensure proper setup of devices and monitoring equipment for participants. + Observe participants using devices during various activities as per protocol. + Ensure proper functioning of data monitoring throughout the session. + Collect data accurately through equipment and manually. + Guide participants through the study. + Support data collection directly with participants during scheduled sessions lasting up to 2.5 hours. Essential Skills + Background in science (Bachelor's degree in science, exercise science, kinesiology, biology). + Experience in research and data entry. + Ability to execute test protocols. + Technical proficiency to operate test devices and perform data entry. + Experience in patient care or people interaction. + Familiarity with gym equipment and knowledge of exercise. + Ability to stand for entire shifts. + Clinical research experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in human subject research. + Data analysis skills. + Experience as a personal trainer. Work Environment The role offers flexibility with shifts, running either a morning (7:30 AM - 3:00 PM) or an afternoon (2:00 PM - 9:00 PM) shift, with the option for double shifts. Work may not be scheduled for full availability depending on participant schedules. Lunches are provided, and the job involves standing for long periods, working with participants in a simulated environment, and possibly conducting some studies outdoors. Dress code is casual yet presentable, suitable for active engagement and demonstrating activities to participants. Training is typically during day shifts but can be accommodated for evening shifts if necessary. There are four openings for each shift, and the study will run through the end of the year, potentially extending into early next year. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Farmington Hills, Michigan. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
