Safety Manager

Charles Taylor is hiring an experienced Safety Manager in Atlanta, GA. 1099 contract role. Project details: * This role will serve as the owner's on-site representative and primary liaison between the trades and the General Contractor. * 40-60 hours/week (M-F; Saturdays as needed) * 18 months * This role requires a strong background in construction safety management, proven leadership in complex project environments, and the ability to effectively represent the owner's interests throughout the construction process. * BCSP certifications strongly preferred. OSHA-510 required. * At least 10-15 years experience overseeing Safety Management. Prior experience working with the owner rep is preferred. Principal Duties & Responsibilities: * Conducting project safety inspections and orientations. * Safety training as requested/required. * Observation and monitoring of worksite employees and safety practices. * Complete document reviews, contractor correspondence, and document management. * Other tasks and activities within the realm of the EHS profession within the manager's skills, abilities, certifications, and authorizations * Communicating safety standards between trades, GC and sub-contractors Equal Opportunity Employer Here at Charles Taylor, we are proud to be an Inclusive Employer.
