Job Title: Scaled Partnerships Vendor Strategy & Operations Manager Location: On-site — New York, NY or Menlo Park, CA Duration: 6 Months (Contract) Top 3 Must-Have Skills Analytical & Problem-Solving: Exceptional ability to analyze complex operational issues, identify root causes, and drive data-informed decisions. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging internal and external stakeholders. Data Tools: Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and Tableau. Additional Key Expertise: Vendor strategy and operations, workforce operations, planning, and performance monitoring. The Scaled Partnerships Vendor Strategy & Operations Manager will oversee a global team of outsourced professionals, ensuring they are effectively deployed to deliver value to partners and stakeholders. You will lead the strategy, infrastructure, and operational frameworks that enable successful third-party vendor deployments and drive operational excellence across the partnerships organization. Responsibilities Strategy and operations: drive strategic initiatives and operational excellence, partnering with leadership and cross-functional teams to define vendor goals, optimize performance management, and implement cutting-edge tooling to achieve significant business outcomes. Workforce operations: resource allocation planning, forecasting and deployment, timelines and workflows, oversight of vendor and Outsourced Partner Management R&Rs Operations optimization: lead transformational operational optimization initiatives, leveraging strategic planning to significantly enhance vendor performance and elevate service delivery. Regularly present data-backed results and strategic recommendations to leadership. Operations planning and monitoring: support capacity planning, maintenance, and monitoring, coordinate participation in business review calls, as well as vendor reporting Management of vendor resources and budgets: oversee vendor OPEX spend and footprint optimization, aggregating regional forecasts and actuals, providing quarterly forecasts to finance and leadership, and coordinating the PO accruals process Governance and compliance: ensure compliance with contractual agreements and oversee governance processes related to vendor operations Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or Finance. 10+ years of progressive experience in: Strategic consulting, large-scale operations, program leadership, or global vendor management. Fast-paced, high-growth environments. Proven leadership and stakeholder management experience across global vendor teams. Strong collaboration with analytics teams to translate insights into actionable strategies. Hands-on experience with Excel, SQL, and Tableau.
