Job Summary Details: This position is for custodial services at a temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, only members of the Church who are endowed and have a current temple recommend qualify for employment for this specific position. For information about ABM's benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits | Front Line Team Members | (Programa de Beneficios de ABM) Basic Qualifications: * Must be 18 years of age or older * No experience required and on the job training provided * No high school diploma, GED or college degree required Preferred Qualifications: * Customer service experience * 1 year of similar work experience Responsibilities: Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities. * Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs * Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc. * Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities * A cleaner must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned. * Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. * dusts furniture, walls, light fixtures. * May remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions. * Mixes water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications * Cleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including application of spot cleaning treatment * Gathers and empties trash * Wipes and cleans tabletops, chairs * Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures * Services, cleans, and supplies restrooms * Cleans glass doors * Must keep janitor's closet neat and orderly and maintain equipment in good working order * Requisitions supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties * Miscellaneous duties as assigned A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
