Join our Nursing Assistant Training Program at Good Samaritan University Hospital and take the first step toward making a meaningful impact in the lives of patients! Good Samaritan is offering fully paid training and, upon successful completion, a full-time or part-time role working at our facility in one of our numerous specialties. This six to eight week training is available for individuals with no or limited prior health care experience and requires applicants to be available Monday to Friday for the duration of the full training. This dynamic Nursing Assistant Training Program is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the healthcare field. Those in the program will have the opportunity to work alongside our award-winning interdisciplinary team in the only Level I Trauma Center for Adults on the South Shore of Long Island. Good Samaritan is also the only hospital in Suffolk county to earn the ANCC Magnet Recognition for nursing excellence, which is held by less than nine percent of hospitals nationwide.
