Job Summary Our client is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support healthcare providers by coordinating patient care and ensuring efficient clinic operations. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal patient care through collaboration with healthcare professionals and performing necessary medical procedures. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, pharmacists, and specialists to ensure optimal patient care. Conduct tests and procedures such as EKGs, non-stress tests, spirometer, venipunctures, skin punctures, strep screens, and various lab tests. Assist with patient treatments and examinations including injections, wound care, and minor surgeries. Transcribe doctors' orders, prepare requisitions, and follow up with pharmacy communications. Clean and sterilize equipment, maintain medical supply inventory, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Welcome patients and assist with completing medical records and history forms. Perform triage, maintain patient flow, and ensure timely patient care. Communicate with patients, record observations, and provide telephonic care support as needed. Skills Proficient in using electronic health records systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks [eCW]). Strong communication and teamwork skills.
