Pendergrass, GA Jefferson Ga 3113 $16.50/Per Hour Material Handler * Job Description * Branch Details 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 5:00am-3:30pm (some weekend work) Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated Material Handler to assist in the preparation of our facilities for move-in and to contribute to the overall organization and efficiency of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, physically capable, and able to work collaboratively with the team. Responsibilities: * Assist in Cleaning for Move-In: * Perform cleaning tasks to ensure the facility is in optimal condition for move-in. * Clean and sanitize designated areas, including but not limited to floors, surfaces, and common spaces. * Moving Materials: * Safely move materials and equipment to their designated areas within the facility. * Follow established procedures for handling and transporting materials. * Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and organized material placement. * Affixing Tape to Warehouse Floor: * Apply tape to the warehouse floor according to predetermined guidelines. * Ensure proper placement and alignment of tape to designate specific areas within the warehouse. * Maintain a neat and organized workspace while performing tape-affixing tasks. Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Previous experience in facilities support or related roles preferred. * Physical fitness and ability to lift/move heavy objects as required. * Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining cleanliness and organization. * Ability to follow safety guidelines and protocols. * Effective communication and teamwork skills. * Willingness to adapt to changing tasks and responsibilities. * Punctuality and reliability. * This job description outlines the primary duties and requirements for the Material Handler position.
