Each respective group is Iconic by Nature and Exceptional by Design.Fabric Research and Development AssistantWe are seeking aFabric Research and Development Assistantto join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized and creative professional with a passion for textiles. Youll be a key player in bringing our creative vision to life by supporting our Fabric Director and working closely with the design and production teams to facilitate fabric production from start to finish.What Youll *****Support Fabric Sourcing & *****Collaborate with designers to establish fabric direction and actively source new materials. Youll work with suppliers to gather details on pricing, minimums, fabric content, and more.Manage Fabric Production *****Maintain precise and detailed records of all fabric developments, from initial adoption to pre-production. Youll ensure a smooth process by requesting FDS sheets, sourcing swatches, and obtaining yardage when needed.Maintain Our Fabric *****Organize and manage our physical fabric library, including swatches, prints, and color standards.Collaborate Across *****Work closely with our Design, Print, and Textile teams to ensure seamless communication and execution.Keep Systems *****Maintain the PLM database with current information, ensuring all fabric details are accurate and easily accessible.Who You *****You have aminimum of 2 years of experiencein fabric sourcing and development, including relevant internship experience.You have astrong background in woven and knit constructionand a great understanding of brand aesthetics.You are highlyorganized and detail-oriented, with excellent time management and multitasking skills.You possess strong proficiency inMicrosoft Office. Knowledge ofPLMandPhotoshopis also highly preferred.You have a degree inTextile Design.Salary ***** *50-58k Actual base salary for this role within the above range will be based upon experience, qualifications and/or assigned unit.An EEO/Affirmative Action Employer.
