Civil Project Engineer - Land DevelopmentBarghausen Consulting Engineers seeks a talented Civil Project Engineer skilled in land development. This is a full‑time role with the option of remote or hybrid work, depending on location. Location: Washington state (remote with location in WA preferred).ResponsibilitiesPreparation of construction plans, feasibility reports, cost estimates, drainage reports, and other project documents with minimal supervision.Coordinate with review agencies, clients, and sub‑consultants for permit applications.Prepare grading plans, profiles, road design and details using AutoCAD Civil 3D.Research regulatory requirements and design standards.Perform detailed calculations for stormwater facilities, utility systems, and roadway improvements.Collaborate with drafters, designers, and administrative staff to complete projects on time and within budget.Prepare site development plans for residential, commercial, industrial, and master planned developments.Qualifications5+ years of site development design experience.Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering preferred, or equivalent work experience.Professional Engineer (PE) license.Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, including grading tools and alignments, profiles, corridors, and surfaces.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency with MS Office.Self-motivated with the ability to deliver excellent client services.What We OfferCOMPENSATION – DOE: $100,000–$130,000/year (final offer based on knowledge, skills, and experience).RETIREMENT – 401(k) with company match.HEALTHCARE – Comprehensive health benefits, life insurance options, and supplemental benefits.VACATION – Generous PTO for work‑life balance.PERKS – Team events, gym membership options, summer half‑days, and more.WORK‑LIFE BALANCE – Flexible work environment (in office, remote, or hybrid).PAID PARENTAL LEAVE – Four weeks of fully paid parental leave.TUITION REIMBURSEMENT – Support for continuing education.About BarghausenBarghausen Consulting Engineers, a Division of Core States Group, is a leading multi‑discipline civil engineering firm with over 650 employees and 24 offices.
