OverviewWe are seeking motivated and talented scientists working in the disciplines of infection and immunity to join our faculty as research-intensive members who will play a key role in advancing the school's commitment to scholarship, excellence, and innovation. Basic and translational scientists working in First-in-human studies of new therapeutics, diagnostics, or interventions desirable. The candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to our research and teaching programs and collaborate with a diverse team of professionals dedicated to impacting oral and general health on local, national, and international levels. The candidate will be expected to maintain a portfolio of externally funded scholarship. Opportunities for extramural practice for those educationally qualified will be considered.QualificationsDDS/DMD/MD/PhD (or equivalent degrees) and a record of productive postdoctoral training and accomplishment in infection and immunity.The successful candidate will be an leader / emerging leader, capable of establishing an independent research program, enhancing current research and teaching excellence, and advancing the objectives of the department.The ideal candidate will be a collaborative scientist who bring new perspectives to Tufts University School of Dental Medicine's research portfolio and the University.Demonstration of scientific leadership skills and potential.Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build trust through open, respectful, and collegial interactions.Teaching and service to the research community considered a dividuals with externally funded research programs will be given priorityApplicationApplication, curriculum vitae, evidence of research and teaching experience, and contact information for three referees.
