OverviewField Applications Engineer - Adhesives - San Francisco Bay AreaDESCRIPTION:We are looking for a Field Applications Engineer to own the application, qualification/validation and troubleshooting of innovative waterproofing solutions for customers in the assigned region. They will establish and maintain positive relationships with key technical contacts and decision makers at customers. This role requires developing an expertise in coating technologies and honing processes for optimal application of coatings to a variety of printed circuit boards.RESPONSIBILITIESSupport business throughout the West Coast.Understand and implement coating application approaches on a variety of customer samples in customers’ production lines and at Company facilities.Provide onsite support for factory implementation of products, regular quality control, and frequent touch-points with customers.Build relationships at the operator level with customers.Work closely with global sales and global technical services teams to ensure the on-time completion of customer municate technical advances internally with other members of the company and be able to engage customers on the details of products.Participate in frequent required travel to customers throughout assigned region.BACKGROUND PROFILE / QUALIFICATIONSExperience with application of coatings, electronics manufacturing processes, and factory line experience.Technical project management experience is a plus.Experience working directly with key technical contacts, decision makers, and distribution partners to win opportunities.Expertise with equipment and methodologies used for dispensing coating materials (e.g., spray, needle, jetting, film).Ability to work independently with minimal day-to-day guidance.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-time #J-18808-Ljbffr
