Overview Job Overview – Senior Electrical Engineer (PE): Compensation: $145,000 – $190,000/year + bonus. Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid) Atlantic Group is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer (PE) in Boston, MA. This hybrid role leads electrical design and project management across commercial, institutional, and industrial projects. You will oversee electrical systems, supervise junior engineers, ensure code compliance, and manage budgets and deadlines. Our client seeks a licensed engineer skilled in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical modeling software to deliver high-quality solutions and drive team success. Responsibilities Design Oversight: Lead electrical design for power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems across commercial and institutional projects. Project Management: Direct projects from concept through completion, ensuring designs meet budget, schedule, and client requirements. Leadership: Mentor and supervise junior engineers while maintaining quality assurance across deliverables. Collaboration: Work closely with architects, mechanical engineers, contractors, and clients to align designs with project goals. Compliance: Ensure all electrical systems adhere to NEC, NFPA, and state/local building codes, along with industry best practices. Technology: Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical analysis tools to produce drawings, models, and technical documentation. Qualifications Licensure: Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is required. Experience: 10+ years in electrical engineering with proven project management experience across commercial, institutional, or industrial projects. Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical modeling/analysis software, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and project scheduling platforms. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of NEC, NFPA, energy codes, and electrical design/build standards. Skills & Attributes: Excellent leadership and communication abilities, with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
