This role offers a clear partner track, working directly alongside the Managing Partner who is planning for retirement in the coming years. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build equity and eventually own part of the business.Lead and oversee tax planning, consulting, compliance, and review services for a diverse client base including trusts, technology, manufacturing, and international businessesServe as the right hand to the Managing Partner with clear advancement into partnershipManage client relationships, offering proactive advice and tailored solutionsReview and supervise the work of staff and managers across multiple projectsConduct high-level technical review, tax projections, and research on complex mattersWork primarily remote with occasional travel for client meetings and firm retreatsCollaborate with team members across California to deliver high-quality resultsQualifications10+ years of progressive tax experience, including significant leadership/managerial responsibilitiesActive CPA license requiredStrong technical expertise in tax law with ability to advise on complex, multi-industry issuesExperience with trusts, technology, manufacturing, or international tax strongly preferredExcellent leadership, communication, and client advisory skillsMust be based in California (Bay Area or Sacramento preferred; relocation within 3045 days is acceptable)Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in firm ownership/partnership trackWhy This Is a Great OpportunityDefined partnership track with equity ownership opportunityDirect mentorship and succession path from the Managing PartnerEntrepreneurial, flexible culture that values both technical skill and work-life balanceDiverse client base across industries and high-net-worth individualsFully remote flexibility with minimal required travelLong-term leadership growth with ownership potentialJPC-385 #J-18808-Ljbffr
