The ideal candidate will lead complex database architecture initiatives and provide technical leadership in a mission-critical environment.What You’ll Be DoingDesign and implement Oracle RAC, Oracle Exadata architectures that ensure high availability, scalability, and optimal performance across multiple nodes and clustersDevelop technical specifications, architectural diagrams, and documentation for Oracle RAC implementations and migrationsLead capacity planning initiatives and provide recommendations for hardware and software requirementsEstablish best practices for Oracle RAC, Exadata administration, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery proceduresMentor and provide technical guidance to database administrators and development teamsPerform complex troubleshooting of RAC-related issues and implement preventive measuresCreate and maintain automation scripts for RAC deployment, maintenance, and monitoringCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure database architectures align with business requirementsConduct regular health checks and performance tuning of RAC environmentsLead database upgrade and migration projects while ensuring minimal downtimeWhy Join UsBe part of a rapidly rising, global technology innovator whose platforms and services are engaged by Fortune 1000 companies and industry leaders such as Microsoft & Amazon.Immerse yourself in a culture where creativity is celebrated and encouraged.Engage in thrilling projects and opportunities for your professional growth.Contribute to our quest to redefine the petitive compensation and benefits with occasional distinctive benefits that set us apart.Who you areMinimum 12 years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator with at least 5 years of hands-on Oracle RAC experienceOracle Certified Master (OCM) or equivalent advanced Oracle certificationsExpert knowledge of Oracle RAC 12c/19c/21c architecture, Grid Infrastructure, and ASMStrong experience with Oracle Data Guard, Golden Gate, and other high availability solutionsProven experience in performance tuning, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery planningAdvanced knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scriptingExperience with automation tools and infrastructure as code principlesStrong understanding of storage systems, networking, and cluster technologiesTechnical Experience in the following areas: Oracle RAC 12c/19c/21c; Grid Infrastructure and ASM; Oracle Data Guard; Oracle GoldenGate; Oracle Exadata; Linux/Unix Administration; Shell Scripting (Bash, Python); SQL and PL/SQL; Network and Storage Technologies; Infrastructure Automation Tools; Performance Monitoring and Tuning Tools; DB migration Tools – XTTS, Golden Gate, AWS DMS, SCT, Datapump, Backup restore methodsExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI) and cloud-based RAC deployments and migrations, specifically on AWSKnowledge of container technologies and microservices architecturesExperience with monitoring tools like Oracle Enterprise Manager, Prometheus, or GrafanaBackground in implementing Oracle Exadata or other engineered systemsExperience with database security and compliance requirementsKnowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelinesEducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.Equal Employment Opportunity: Trianz is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate based on race, color, creed, national or ethnic origin, gender, religion, disability, age, political affiliation or belief, special needs veteran status, veteran of the Vietnam Era, or citizenship status (as permitted by law).
