Sr. Professional, Software EngineeringPurpose of RoleCome join Under Armour as a Sr. Software Engineer and create software to power the future of connected fitness and consumer technology. The ideal candidate has a passion for collaboration with cross-functional partners, can adapt to technology change and evolution, and is eager to find creative solutions to technical issues.Your ImpactExecute full lifecycle software development for the Under Armour android app working within Android libraries such as android libraries such as Dagger, Retrofit, RxJava, and/or JUnitDevelop and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIsWork in remote CMS systems such as CloudCMS and/or CoreMediaWrite unit tests and testable codeParticipate and architect extensible solutions in KotlinLead integration discussions with internal and external partnersSupport and debug systems and utilize good software development practices, patterns, and architectureDocument and maintain software functionalityContinuously ensure that the health of the platform exceeds user expectationsWork closely with cross-functional teammates to help define technical requirements to support the product roadmap(s), including coaching and mentoring junior developersOther duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related field followed by 5 years of progressively responsible Android development and problem-solving experience OR Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related field and 3 years of Android development and problem solving experience.
