Job Description As a Security Professional - Retail Site - Afternoon Shift in Beverly Hills, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. You will be a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, playing a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic retail and mall location. Your responsibilities include conducting regular patrols, staying visible to guests and staff, and responding promptly to security-related concerns. You will interact professionally with visitors and tenants, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication at all times. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $23.25 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You’ll Do Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within the retail and mall environment. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible security presence. Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or incidents to the appropriate personnel in accordance with Allied Universal protocols. Assist with access control, visitor management, and/or crowd control as needed within the retail or mall environment. Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergencies by following established procedures and communicating clearly. Maintain detailed and accurate logs or reports of daily activities and incidents encountered during patrols. What We’re Looking For Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements Customer service experience is preferred. A valid Guard Card or license is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
