Medical Data and Analytics Product Owner (Senior Manager, Information Systems) Medical Data and Analytics Product Owner (Senior Manager, Information Systems) role at BioSpace. This position focuses on driving emerging data, AI, and ML capabilities for Amgen's Global Medical Team within a SAFe Agile product team. What You Will Do Be the technology product owner and client-facing lead responsible for driving emerging data, AI and ML capabilities for Amgen's Global Medical Team. Collaborate with the Medical Data & Analytics team and medical capabilities teams to co-create business value using data and AI/ML technologies delivered via a SAFe Agile product team. Ensure robust product governance via PI planning aligned to short- and long-term business and technology strategy needs. Partner with Engineering and Product Management to develop a roadmap, prioritize release scopes, and refine the Product backlog. Work closely with UX to align technical requirements, scenarios, and business process maps with User Experience designs. Execute effective product demonstrations for internal and external stakeholders. Champion adoption, foster knowledge sharing, and drive user engagement across Global Medical teams. Basic Qualifications Doctorate degree AND 2 years of Information Systems and Data Analysis experience; OR Masters degree AND 6 years of Information Systems and Data Analysis experience; OR Bachelors degree AND 8 years of Information Systems and Data Analysis experience; OR Associates degree AND 10 years of Information Systems and Data Analysis experience; OR High school diploma / GED AND 12 years of Information Systems and Data Analysis experience Functional Skills Must Have Skills Domain expertise in medical data and analytics Strong understanding of various data sources in the medical affairs ecosystem Excellent influencing skills and demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with business partners and stakeholders, IS teams, and external service providers Demonstrated experience managing large-scale data projects with a track record of delivering innovative and impactful solutions Experience managing product features for PI planning and developing product roadmaps and user journeys Proficiency leveraging cloud platforms (i.e. AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks) for data analysis and data engineering solutions. Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and cost optimization strategies. Good-to-Have Skills Experience developing and managing systems related to medical publications management, customer service and call center, and medical information management Familiarity with low-code, no-code test automation software Proficiency with project management tools and technology (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, Miro) Proficiency with analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Databricks, Spotfire, PowerBI) Experience with DevOps, CI/CD methodology Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills to address complex data challenges utilizing AI/ML frameworks In-depth knowledge of agile methodology for project management Professional Certifications SAFe for Teams certification (preferred) Soft Skills Outstanding communication skills and experience partnering with Executive business leaders to drive strategic decisions Demonstrated ability to influence and delegate work Excellent analytical and gap/fit assessment skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams High degree of initiative and self-motivation Ability to manage multiple priorities successfully Team-oriented, with a focus on achieving team goals Strong presentation and public speaking skills Thrive What You Can Expect Of Us We support professional and personal growth and well-being, with extensive opportunities to learn and move up within our global organization.
