This role serves as the key liaison between Tech Electronics and vendors/distributors to secure competitive pricing on fire, security, and AV system components for commercial building projects, while also supporting direct materials sales to contractors and other industry professionals. What You/'ll Do as A Strategic Sourcing & OTC Materials AnalystDeal Registration Management: Register large commercial project bids with appropriate vendors and distributors to secure competitive pricing and support bid success rates.Vendor Relations: Maintain strong relationships with key vendors of fire, security, and AV system components to maximize deal registration opportunities and pricing advantages.OTC Materials Sales: Process and fulfill over-the-counter materials sales requests from external customers via telephone, email, walk-in, and online channels.Quote Procurement: Obtain competitive pricing quotes from vendors for project bids, ensuring timely submission to support the bidding process and securing favorable terms for awarded projects.Project Fulfillment: Upon project award, execute procurement using previously obtained vendor quotes to ensure seamless transition from bid to project delivery.Database Management: Maintain accurate records of all deal registrations, pricing agreements, and customer transactions in company database systems.Market Intelligence & Customer Service: Monitor competitor pricing and market trends while providing technical support and product information to customers, ensuring professional representation of Tech Electronics/' ventory Coordination: Work with warehouse staff to manage OTC inventory levels and identify fast-moving items that require stock pliance Management: Ensure all deal registrations comply with vendor guidelines and maintain proper documentation for audit purposes.Sales Target Achievement: Meet monthly sales quotas for OTC materials sales as defined by management.Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and field personnel to support large project requirements and timelines. Secondary FunctionsAssist with vendor evaluation and selection processes as needed.Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.Provide backup support for other procurement and sales functions during peak periods or staff absences. POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSThe following are the minimum qualifications an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Education:Bachelor/'s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field requiredTechnical training in fire, security, or AV systems would be a major plusExperience:Two (2) years experience in procurement, sales, or technical support roles, desiredExperience with vendor deal registration processesBackground in fire, security, or AV systems industry highly desirableAnalytical thinking and skills - Excel formulae, SQL, statistics, etc..ERP system experience beneficialAttributes for Success:STRONG analytical skills required - Ability to analyze complex pricing structures, market trends, and cost-benefit scenarios to make data-driven decisionsAdvanced data analysis capabilities - Ability to collect, interpret, and synthesize large amounts of pricing and market data to identify patterns and opportunitiesProblem-solving expertise - Ability to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions from complex procurement and sales scenariosProficiency in MS Office applications, with advanced Excel skills for complex data analysis and reportingAbility to learn and navigate multiple vendor portals and systems quicklyUnderstanding of commercial construction project timelines and requirementsExcellent attention to detail for accurate order processing and documentationStrong organizational skills for managing multiple deal registrations simultaneously We/'re an equal opportunity employer.
