The company fosters a collaborative and dynamic culture with strong leadership and opportunities to impact enterprise-level accounting operations.Position SummaryThe Accounting Manager will join the Financial Reporting Controllership group, reporting to the AVP of Financial Reporting. This leader will oversee consolidations, intercompany accounting, and internal financial reporting while driving improvements in reporting and analytics. The role provides a balance of technical accounting, leadership, and process transformation.Key ResponsibilitiesManage monthly close, reporting calendar, and related deliverables.Lead financial statement consolidations and intercompany accounting.Supervise and mentor Senior and Staff Accountants.Strengthen regulatory requirements, SOX compliance, controls, and audit readiness.Lead and prioritize G&A expense team's work to align with departmental goals and enhance employee engagement.Drive enhancements in reporting accuracy, efficiency, and analysis.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.5+ years of progressive accounting experience; preferred experience in public accountingExpertise in consolidations and intercompany accounting.Strong knowledge of internal controls and audit procedures.Financial services and/or broker-dealer experience strongly preferred.Oracle Financials and advanced Excel skills a plus.EEO NoticeVaco by Highspring is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, religion or creed, national origin, citizenship, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristics as required by federal, state or local law.Vaco by Highspring and its parents, affiliates, and subsidiaries are committed to the full inclusion of all qualified individuals.
