Chief Financial Officer

Overview We’re looking for a hands-on financial leader to join our client’s executive team as Chief Financial Officer. This is a key leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, brings a broad finance toolkit, and knows how to partner with executives and investors to drive growth, performance, and strategic change. As CFO, you’ll oversee all aspects of finance — from accounting, treasury, and FP&A to risk and capital management — while shaping the company’s direction and building long-term value. This role is ideal for a strategic problem-solver who has operated in private equity–backed and publicly held companies, and who has successfully navigated complex challenges including liquidity management, carveouts, integrations, and preparing businesses for sale or IPO. What You’ll Do Partner with the CEO and executive team to set strategy and drive company performance. Lead financial planning, forecasting, and analysis to ensure strong decision-making. Manage liquidity, capital structure, and banking relationships. Oversee accounting, reporting, compliance, and risk management. Drive transformation initiatives that improve profitability and strengthen the balance sheet. Play a key role in M&A, including carveouts, integrations, sales, and IPO readiness. Build and mentor a high-performing finance team. What We’re Looking For 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience. Proven success in private equity and public company settings. Deep expertise in FP&A, treasury, accounting, and strategic finance. Strong M&A background with carveout and integration experience. CPA and/or CFA strongly preferred; Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance required, MBA a plus. A collaborative, hands-on leader with excellent communication skills and executive presence.
