OverviewVice President of Marketing Classification :Exempt Reports To :CEO Position Type :Full Time Work Schedule :M-F 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Work Location :Headquarters, Kansas City, MOJob SummaryThe Vice President of Marketing will drive and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to elevate our passenger vehicle manufacturing, sales, rental & services brand, drive customer acquisition, and support revenue growth. The VP of Marketing will lead, develop, and innovate all consumer, brand, product development, e-Commerce, digital marketing, research and customer marketing initiatives, to grow our business and increase our brand presence and consumer base. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this role requires deep industry insight, strong leadership, and a data-driven mindset to position our company at the forefront of our industry.Essential FunctionsDevelop and implement an integrated marketing plan aligned with business goals, covering digital, print, events, and partnership channels.Oversee brand management to ensure consistent messaging across all customer touchpoints.Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing marketing team, fostering cross-collaboration across all departments.Manage annual marketing budget, allocating resources to highest-impact initiatives and tracking ROI.Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities in the passenger vehicle industry.Drive digital transformation through company resources by optimizing website, CRM, SEO / SEM, email campaigns, and social media engagement.Establish strategic alliances with industry associations and vendors for co-marketing and sponsorships.Plan and execute trade shows, conferences, and customer events to showcase service capabilities and build relationships.Responsible for the development, oversight, and delivery of the company's public relations function.Prepare and present quarterly marketing performance reports and forecasts for executive petenciesStrategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExceptional leadership and team development capabilitiesAdvanced understanding of digital marketing tools and analytics platformsExcellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyData-driven decision maker with proficiency in KPIs, dashboards, and marketing automationSupervisory ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the management of an internal team of marketing professionals and support specialists, as well as 3rd party vendors.Work EnvironmentOn-site in a professional office environmentPhysical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.Required Education / Experience / CertificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related fieldMinimum 10 years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership roleDemonstrated success driving brand growth, lead generation, and customer retention in B2B servicesMinimum of 5–7 years of experience leading teams, with demonstrated executive presence; experience engaging with senior leadership is a plus.Experience managing marketing budgets of $1M+ and delivering measurable ROIPreferred Education / Experience / CertificationsProven track record in the transportation, logistics, or vehicle manufacturing industryMBA or master’s degree in a relevant fieldPrevious experience in an executive-level roleTravel RequirementsLess than 15%Other DutiesThis job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
