Fruit Dates Manufacturing- Production Supervisor

OverviewJob description: The Produce Department Supervisor and Date Farm Worker roles involve overseeing production processes in fruit date manufacturing, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery while managing staff and operations in compliance with safety and quality standards.ResponsibilitiesSupervise the production lines and operators; monitor production efficiency, schedules, and safety.Manage the production process, handle production delays, and resolve issues to meet production targets.Oversee inventory management and assist with inventory accuracy and reporting.Ensure quality control and compliance with safety regulations; supervise hold/retained item areas and verify basic plant operations.Lead and train employees; enforce company policies and procedures; document non-compliances and take corrective action as required.Coordinate with HR as needed and support ongoing training and safety monitoring.Review production boards to anticipate future material needs and coordinate with scheduling to ensure correct quantities of materials are available.Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in packing facilities; oversee packaging, sorting, and labeling of harvested dates.Perform routine equipment checks and take daily equipment inventory; monitor line start-up to ensure lines begin promptly.Support continuous improvement efforts by monitoring line utilizations and efficiencies.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsExperience in date farming or agricultural work.Physical ability to lift heavy loads, work at heights, and perform repetitive tasks.Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.Basic knowledge of date farming.Bi-lingual: English & Spanish, preferably able to read and write both.Job DetailsLocation: In personSchedule: 6am - 4pm (open to adjustment based on position)Job Type: Full-time #J-18808-Ljbffr
