US Citizenship Required.Join a high-impact engineering team driving structural integrity for advanced aircraft, unmanned systems, and next-gen defense programs. As a Structural Analysis Engineer 4, our client has an exciting opportunity for Senior Structural Analysis Engineers for current and emerging programs across the St. Louis region, including Berkeley, MO, Hazelwood, MO, and Mascoutah, IL.Structural Analysis Engineers develop and document structural requirements that guide system design and verify integrity through analytical methods and high-fidelity simulations. They author test plans, support execution, and analyze results to demonstrate compliance with specifications and certification standards. They also investigate in-service issues and recommend improvements across company aircraft, unmanned vehicles, and other platforms.These structural analysts support the following programs:F-47 – the next fighter for the Air ForceT-7A – the next trainer for the Air ForceF-15, F/A-18, EA-18G, F-22 – production tactical fighter aircraft ongoing major upgradesSeveral programs within the Phantom Works organizationMQ-25 – Autonomous Carrier Landing Vehicle for the NavyPrecision Engagement Systems (PES) including Direct Attack weapons (JDAM, SDB, MOP, HAAWC and associated derivatives) and Cruise Missiles (SLAM ER, Harpoon and development weapons)Company Global Services including Support Equipment, Government Training Engineering, and US Air Force Programs Modification, Sustainment, and Product Support777X commodity design, fabrication and manufactureCompany Test and EvaluationPosition ResponsibilitiesLeads development, integration and documentation of structural requirements to establish the system design.Coordinates with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment.Guides product design and verifies structural integrity by using and developing analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance.Leads development of test plans and configurations, supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied.Supports in-service products by leading investigations into failures and analyzing improvements.Develops analytical processes/tools to improve effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the development effort.Works under minimal direction. Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role.This position is expected to be 100% onsite.Basic Qualifications (Required)Bachelor degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is , although not required, accreditation standard.10+ years of relevant structural analysis experience8+ years experience analyzing primary structure, subsystems, or weapons in the Aerospace IndustryExperience performing hand calculations, using industry CAD system (e.g. PRO-E, SOLIDWORKS, AUTOCAD, NX/Teamcenter, CATIA/ENOVIA), FEM software (PATRAN/NASTRAN, Stresscheck, Hyperworks, Abaqus), and MS OfficeQualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)Experience with Company Analysis Tools (CAESAR, Lifeworks, Mechanica, Common Structures Workstation).Bachelor degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
