We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior IT Business Systems Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting and improving our internal business applications, ensuring seamless operations, and optimizing business processes and performance. This role will also collaborate with developers, vendors, and 3rd party support teams.What You Will Do:Application Programming:Lead hands-on technical and operational integration for internal line of business applications (e.g. CRM, ERP, HRMS), including designing and configuring applications, developing implementation plans, triaging and debugging permission issuesDevelop custom scripts and automation tools to extend system functionality and improve performanceAnalyze existing programs and develop logic for new systems, devise logic procedures, prepare flowcharting, perform coding and tests/debugs programs, and prepare systems and programming documentationTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical and functional issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operationsMaintain system standards and efficiently resolve application-related problems in collaboration with developers, system administrators, and business stakeholdersSystem Enhancements & Process Optimization:Architect and implement system enhancements and upgrades, translating business requirements into functional specifications and system designsOwn testing and validation efforts to ensure enhancements meet business requirements and adhere to established quality standardsLeverage data insights and stakeholder feedback to continuously improve and refine business processesDocument detailed business process models, including "as-is" and "to-be" states, to guide system enhancements and drive process improvementsImplementation and Training:Author comprehensive documentation of system configurations, business rules, and procedures to ensure accurate knowledge transfer and support continuityDevelop technical documentation, including user training sessions and onboarding materials, to ensure effective system utilization and increase end-user adoption and proficiencyOwn end-user troubleshooting and serve as an escalation point for complex system issuesProject Management:Lead cross-functional projects of significant impact, managing and executing all phases from planning to implementationServe as a technical lead for enterprise system upgrades, migrations and architecture reviewsAdapt to shifting priorities and create strategies to mitigate downstream implications to partnersWhat You Will Bring:Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)8+ years proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst and Administrator or similar role supporting internal line of business applications, such as a CRM, ERP, or HRMS3+ years creating, analyzing, and documenting complex business requirements within finance and operations organizations3+ years supporting applications under SOX compliance, directly owning evidence collection and audit activity2+ year experience in programming languages and scripting such as C#, PowerShell, and/or Python1+ year leveraging a middleware solution, such as Workato or Mulesoft, to facilitate data integrations across business applicationsExperience working within in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies and best practices and familiarity with IT enterprise process standards and regulations (e.g. ITIL, Lean, PCI, SOX)Experience with system configuration, testing, and troubleshootingExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilitiesStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholdersSelf-motivated with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independentlyProven background collaborating with multi-functional teams such as Finance, Sales & Marketing, and OperationsExperience supporting D365 F&O, Salesforce, ADP Workforce Now, Concur and/or similar business applicationsExperience with Transact-SQL and data warehousing.Impinj is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, sex, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
