OverviewMBN Solutions are supporting an Applied AI start-up, based in San Francisco to find their next AI Engineering Lead. The company builds the next generation of personal AI—private, user-owned, and designed to run directly on people’s devices. They require an AI technical leader (former CTO or senior tech lead of a consumer AI product) who shares a passion for privacy and user sovereignty.You’ll lead application development across desktop, mobile, and future platforms, shaping how individuals interact with their own AI.ResponsibilitiesLead application development across desktop, mobile, and future platforms.Shape how individuals interact with their own AI and influence product direction.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture and priorities.QualificationsExperience deploying AI in real-world consumer products.Strong grasp of modern language model architectures, quantization, and on-device optimization.Hands-on familiarity with the open-source AI stack (e.g. lightweight inference runtimes, device-level ML frameworks).Deep knowledge of native app ecosystems (especially Apple platforms).Background in system-level programming & performance tuning.Contributions to open-source or research in AI/ML.Experience with trusted execution, enclaves, or privacy-preserving terest in building personal, private AI.Location: San Francisco, Remote US Based Options pensationBase pay range: $200,000.00/yr - $300,000.00/yr #J-18808-Ljbffr
