OverviewKadiak, LLC, a Koniag Government company is seeking an Engineer Associate II with a Top-Secret clearance to support Kadiak and our government customer in Washington, DC.We offer competitive compensation and an extraordinary benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance, 401K with company matching, flexible spending accounts, paid holidays, three weeks paid time off, and more.ResponsibilitiesApply current graphics design and .NET technologies to develop, modify, and maintain SharePoint server portalsDesign, develop, and manage site content and capabilities and provide daily onsite maintenance of the existing MOSS portalsParticipate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of softwareTranslate applications requirements into web-based solutions using available technologyApply new and emerging technologies to the software development processKnowledgeable in implementing computer systems in a phased approach of requirements analysis through testing, using Internet/intranet technologyKnowledgeable in performing requirements analysis for a wide range of usersAble to present system designs for user approval at formal reviewsCapable of performing configuration management, software integration, and interpretation of software test results, as well as recommending solutions for unsatisfactory test resultsKnowledgeable in life-cycle support, including maintenance, administration, and managementProvide solutions to identify software problem reportsWork with project stakeholders dailyRequirementsBachelor’s degree or Graduate degree in a related fieldState Department experience preferredAble to be available for overseas travelAble to work effectively with high-ranking officials of the State Department, other government agencies, and foreign governmentsHave a strong understanding of the paper process at the State Department and other State Department procedures, such as travel planning and executionBe able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writingTop-Secret clearance requiredEqual Employment OpportunityThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
