Senior Scientist

Senior Battery Scientist required for an innovative company involved in developing the next generation of batteries for various applications.Based in the San Francisco Bay area, our client focuses on game-changing battery technologies and seeks to recruit Battery Scientists to evaluate cell materials, components, formulations, and cell design.Responsibilities include:Evaluating active materials to meet product requirements and R&D objectivesDefining and validating standard test procedures, equipment, and protocols for R&DBuilding cells and analyzing data to measure and compare performanceApplying diagnostics to investigate reactions, conduct failure mode analysis, and identify root causesSupporting product and process development teams in material evaluation, cell building, testing, and data analysisAssisting in designing and establishing a manufacturing line at a new facilityQualifications:Ph.D. in Electrochemical Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related fieldAt least 7 years of industrial battery R&D or product experienceExperience with lithium-ion/metal chemistry and battery components, especially active materials and electrolytesAbility to design experiments that yield clear results to inform decisionsExperience with battery testing systems like Maccor or NewareUnderstanding of electrochemical performance and battery degradation modelsThis is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the development of next-generation terested Battery Scientists should apply without delay. #J-18808-Ljbffr
