OverviewJob Title: Associate General CounselCompany: REPKON USALocation: Tampa, Florida (On site)REPKON USA Holdings, a leader in advanced defense technologies, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Associate General Counsel to support the Legal Department. This position is ideal for a legal professional looking to deepen their expertise in government contracting, compliance, corporate governance, and intellectual property in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.ResponsibilitiesLegal Counsel & SupportProvide legal analysis and guidance on corporate initiatives, contracts, and operational matters.Assist the General Counsel and business leaders with legal research, drafting, and review of agreements, policies, and reports.Government ContractingAssist in negotiating, drafting, and reviewing federal contracts.Help monitor compliance with FAR, DFARS, and other applicable laws and regulations.Support internal teams on bid submissions and contract execution pliance & Regulatory AffairsHelp administer legal compliance programs across the businessConduct risk assessments and recommend policy improvements.Maintain accurate legal documentation and regulatory tellectual Property & LitigationHelp manage the company's intellectual property portfolio including trademarks and patents.Collaborate with outside counsel on litigation, investigations, and dispute resolution.Review and summarize legal correspondence, filings, and court documents.Corporate Governance & TransactionsAssist in corporate governance processes, such as board documentation, subsidiary management, and records.Support real estate transactions, employment matters, M&A, and internal audits as needed.QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.4–10 years of relevant legal experience in government contracting and compliance.Deep understanding of government acquisition regulations (FAR/DFARS), and international compliance regimes.Preferred - Familiarity with environmental regulations impacting aerospace and defense industries (e.g., hazardous materials, waste management, emissions compliance).Exposure to federal and state environmental statutes and sustainability initiatives is a plus.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.Experience in aerospace/defense or manufacturing is a plus.Personal AttributesA critical thinker who is detail-oriented and organized.Professional judgment and discretion in handling confidential information.Curious, adaptable, and eager to develop expertise in a complex, regulated industryWe are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
