Base pay range$175,000.00/yr - $195,000.00/yrAriZona Beverages offers competitive compensation based on skills and experience.SUMMARY/OBJECTIVEServe as in-house counsel and handle all complex legal matters and projects. Ensure the legality of commercial transactions and advise the company on legal rights and duties.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSConsult and handle all corporate legal processes (e.g., intellectual property, mergers and acquisitions, financial offerings, compliance issues, transactions, agreements, lawsuits, patents).Develop company policy and position on legal issues.Research, anticipate and guard the company against legal risks.Guide managers and ensure compliance with rules and regulations.Structure, draft and review reports and other legal documents.Represent the company in legal proceedings (administrative boards, court trials, etc.).Draft and administer all contracts.Negotiate deals and attend company meetings.Other duties may be assigned, as needed, or required.QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSJ.D. degree and New York State bar admission required4+ years proven comparable law firm experienceProven background in corporate law (contract law, tax law, accounting, bankruptcy, intellectual property rights, licensing, zoning laws)Excellent negotiation and communication skillsAdministrative and managerial skillsAnalytical ability and strong attention to detailAbility to multi-task and work under pressureSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITYYesWORK ENVIRONMENTThe work environment is not specified in this description.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
