Chemical Buyer – Aerospace Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-orientedChemical Buyerto join our inside sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing chemicals, managing supplier relationships, processing customer RFQs, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery and high customer satisfaction. This is a full-time, salaried position with opportunities for growth.Key Responsibilities Receive and prioritize daily tasks from the department sales manager, including customer RFQs and follow-up requests. Source RFQ line items using company tools, including database history, ILS, PartsBase, and other resources. Coordinate assignments with procurement, expediting, and sales coordination teams. Prepare and issue customer quotes by the end of each business day using ERP software. Resolve issues related to rejected items, stock shortages, lead times, and other order-related matters in coordination with vendors and internal staff. Act as department lead in the absence of the sales manager.Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or 4–5 years of sales or procurement experience in the aerospace industry. Previous experience in aerospace brokering, MRO, or trading preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
