We are seeking an automotive F&I professional to join our field team here at the DOWC organization. This is a great opportunity for career automotive gurus who want to step away from the dealership life and take on a more specialized corporate role. As an F&I Trainer & Field Specialist, you will be responsible for traveling to dealership sites for one of our key accounts and boost their F&I performance by developing the knowledge and skills of F&I and Sales professionals. Additionally, you will provide ongoing support to ensure continuous improvement and success in F&I performance. This position is well-suited for individuals who are enthusiastic about giving presentations and training audiences in the automotive industry.Experience and knowledge in the automotive dealership industry is required. F&I experience is required.Key Responsibilities Key Account Support & Relationship Management: Serve as a primary field-level contact for designated Key Accounts, ensuring strong operational support and consistent communication Build and maintain positive working relationships with dealership personnel, fostering trust and reliability Execute assigned initiatives to enhance dealership performance and client satisfaction On-Site Training & Coaching: Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions for F&I managers and dealership staff on: DOWC product portfolio and compliance standards Sales process, menu presentation, and advanced closing techniques System navigation and portal utilization Provide onboarding support for new F&I personnel and refresher training as needed Operational Execution & Problem Resolution: Implement field directives and ensure dealership adherence to company standards Provide hands-on assistance to resolve operational challenges at the dealership level; escalate complex issues to senior field leadership Deliver “fill-in” F&I support when requested by clients Performance Monitoring & Reporting: rack and report key account performance metrics to Field Leadership Complete accurate and timely daily, weekly, and monthly reports on training activities, dealer engagement, and outcomes Identify performance gaps and suggest actionable improvements Other: Partner with internal teams to align key account field activities with overall company initiatives Communicate dealership insights and feedback to Field Management for continuous improvement 60%-70% travel within the USQualifications Minimum of 5+ years' experience inautomotive F&Iis required - if you do not have F&I experience kindly do not apply. Finance Director, Sales Manager, General Manager backgrounds preferred in addition to F&I. Must have experience managing a high-performing team. Strong knowledge and expertise in F&I products and practices Excellent presentation and facilitation skills Ability to deliver highly effective training programs Strong relationship building skills with dealership personnel at all levels Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Passionate and driven teaching style Ability to maintain an upbeat, positive, and inspiring attitude to effectively communicate with diverse audiences Proficiency in Microsoft Suite; familiarity with CRM or dealer management systems preferred. Comfortable with frequent travelFrequent travel within the US is required for this role Candidates can reside in any location in the US.
