Accounting Specialist

Job Summary:The Accounting Specialist will play a key role in supporting the preparation of the divestiture of a Client business, currently expected to occur in November 2025. This role will involve working within Client's accounting and consolidation systems to extract data, manage balances on consolidation adjustment vouchers, and determine which balances are transferred to the divested business. The specialist may also assist with the monthly closing process to support the overall project timeline.Key Responsibilities:Assist with various accounting processes as part of the divestiture preparation.Work within Client's accounting and consolidation systems to extract and analyze data.Facilitate the breakout of balances on consolidation adjustment vouchers (CAVs).Determine which balances are to be transferred to the divested business.Support the monthly closing process to allow others to focus on the project.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and timely reporting.Required Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, etc.).Experience using SAP applications.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to navigate complex situations and work with global teams.Ability to work well in a team environment and interact with all levels of the organization.Self-motivated and self-managed with a focus on meeting deadlines.Preferred Skills:Prior experience working in a divestiture or merger/acquisition environment.Experience with consolidation and financial reporting systems.Education:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
